An online internship program on “Contemporary Dynamics of Azerbaijan” dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the restoration of independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan successfully completed.

Lectures were given to 30 selected participants among young Pakistani researchers during the 2 months internship program by the scientists, diplomats, military officials, experts from Azerbaijan and Pakistan on the theme “Azerbaijan after the restoration of its independence. Azerbaijan-Pakistan friendship and strategic partnership”, “The role of Azerbaijan in the system of international relations and its foreign policy. Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”, “Economy of Azerbaijan. Achievements and priorities”, “Education and Science in Azerbaijan. Innovations and Objectives”, “Armed forces of Azerbaijan. Defence and military cooperation with Pakistan”, “History of Azerbaijan. Shared ties and commonalities with Pakistan”, “Importance of humanitarian and cultural ties in strengthening close friendship and fraternal relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Pakistan”

Researchers prepared a number of articles covering different contents about Azerbaijan based on their theoretical knowledge and research during the program. These articles were published in the mass media of Pakistan.

The internship program roused great interest among the participants about Azerbaijan and their numerous questions were answered by the experts during the lectures.

As a result of this program, young researchers gained detailed information on the history, culture, education and science, foreign policy, economy, defense and military potential of Azerbaijan, relations with Pakistan, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and aggressive policy of Armenia.

At the end of the program, the participants made presentations on the topics of the lecture and demonstrated their knowledge in accordance with the tasks given to them.

The participants expressed their readiness to deliver information to the world community at any time  regarding realities of Azerbaijan and our country's fair position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The internship program created high impressions on young researchers about  Azerbaijan and roused their interest in visiting Azerbaijan in the future and getting acquainted with our country visually .

It is considered to hold a meeting with the participants of the program and present them certificates on the eve of October 18 - Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.
